Harmonies Class announcement!

Tuesday, January 19, 2016 by Noree Dolphay | Uncategorized

Hello lovely students and parents!

I am excited to announce that I will begin teaching a Harmonies Class at Learn to Burn in our brand new beautiful classroom! Students of all instruments are welcome to join, and you do not need to be currently taking private lessons to take the class.

When: Tuesdays at 6:30-7:30pm (or 8:00? We'll see how it goes!)

Where: Learn to Burn's new downstairs classroom

Cost: $5.00 per week for current Learn to Burn private students, $10.00 per week for anyone else.(Talk to me about scholarships if money is a hindrance in this case!)

Many of you will know that we have a huge concert at The Bing Crosby Theatre on March 26th. I need an absolute army of backup singers for a lot of the songs so we will be using those songs as our course material, and using the class to train the backup singers for the concert. However, if you do not wish to sing in our concert, you are still welcome to join us in learning parts on these awesome songs! And if you do want to get on stage with us, I would be so excited to have you join us! Bonus: students who attend harmonies class may be exempted from some of their Saturday rehearsal attendance in March!

Weekly attendance is encouraged but occasional attendance is welcomed too. If you are a private voice student who plans on singing in the recital at all you will NEED to come to a few of these evenings unless you have a Noree-approved reason why you can't.

After the recital I will begin teaching a vocal function course in that time slot that I've had a lot of success with in Coeur d'Alene, so stay tuned!

PLEASE let me know if you are interested in attending so I can make room for you! As always, please feel free to call, text, or email me at any time if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
